If I may make a few suggestions based on my quick observations that might help:

Issue #1) There's too many options in your "signature" section at the end of your articles. When people have too many options, they tend to end up taking no action at all.

Solution #1) Cut out everything except a CTA for your lead magnet. Save all the other stuff (like mentioning your YouTube, the link to your personal site, and the Guatemalan puppies) for the signature section of your emails you send out to your email list.

Issue #2) I can't find your guide/ebook/lead magnet anywhere. I also struggled to find the sign-up for your newsletter on your website until I scrolled all the way down to the bottom of one of your articles (it eventually popped up after I was on the website for a few minutes, but it took quite a while to appear - it should pop up within 30 seconds, before most people leave the site).

Solution #2) Similar to solution #1, make your lead magnet your #1 focus - link to it, and only it, everywhere. Put the link with a CTA for it in your bio, put it in your signature section at the bottom of the articles, add it to the top of your website's homepage, and switch out the pop-up from your newsletter to your lead magnet instead.

Additional Notes:

Besides the suggestions above, also just wanted to let you know when I was going through your stuff, I noticed the YouTube link you have set in your signature area at the bottom of your articles is not working, it leads to an error page. So might want to double check that you have the correct URL as well.
